Dr. Karthik is a skilled anesthesiologist with 16-years of experience. He is interested in thoracic epidural anesthesia, labour analgesia and acute pain management.

Dr. Karthik works at Vasavi Hospital, Bangalore. He has also worked at St. Johns Medical College Hospital and St. Marthas Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Karthik has significantly contributed not just at the national level but globally also. He has offered his services to several Manchester, UK & Maldives etc. He is also a member of the Indian Medical Association, the India Society of Anesthesiologists and the Indian College of Anesthesiologists. He has significantly contributed to these 

organizations/associations as a responsible member. Dr. Karthik pursued his Bachelor’s degree from Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur and PGDM in Anesthesiology from JN Medical College, Belgaum. He also did DNB Anesthesiology from St. Martha’s Hospital, Bengaluru.

Presently, along with his position at Vasavi Hospital, he also teaches young medical students. He has guided many postgraduates in their thesis work and more. He is a registered appraiser for the National Board of Examinations. New Delhi. He is a trained ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) and BLS (essential life support) provider. His achievements and accreditations do not end here; he has participated in multiple clinical studies. One of the notable clinical studies he has been a part of is “thoracic epidural anesthesia for upper abdominal surgeries”.
